A partnership that’s been a long time coming. I have the absolute pleasure of having Dr Imran Nisar as my dentist.
So I knew from first hand experience, the person he is, and the professional. I knew the process as well as the rest of his guests. I also knew of his ambition to create a new practise of his own, one that focussing purely on the happiness and wellbeing of every person who walks through his door.
So with that being said, the moment he asked me to create a cohesive brand identity for his new private dental studio, there was no question in my mind, I couldn’t wait.
Dr Imran is unlike any other dentist I’ve met, he takes his time, he gets to know you, he talks you through the journey, and finds a solution that feels unique to you, putting you at ease every step of the way. Rare qualities in a service that people are typically too scared visit.

When he came to me with the name Re-Ignite Dental, He spoke about his desire to not only build peoples dream smile, but to go beyond by reinvigorating their self-esteem. Allowing the people who walk through his door to be a better, more complete versions of themselves. Giving back the confidence that they’ve always had.
This opened a world of possibilities to create a brand that does exactly what he cares most about: Rejuvenating Confidence.
You see for a lot of people, the mouth is the centre point of what they exude. It enables you to speak proudly, laugh vigorously, articulate, annunciate, and express yourself any way you choose. With that, your voice and your expressions can achieve amazing things, and that goes far beyond having the perfect smile.

These desires, ethos, and motives were taken into account and amplified in the the brand strategy, creating a messaging system designed to lead with emotion with a link back to the service, rather than the other way around, keeping in mind the theory of: People don’t buy what you do, they why you do it.
We want our guests to know that we have a better understand of how they feel, creating an environment that of comfort, helping us get to the root of their problems and in turn give them much better results, specifically for you.

We created an identity and visual language that enlightened the brands purpose. An ignited glow that starts at the identity and passes through every element of the visual language, symbolising the passing of knowledge and the transferrable confidence enabled by the honed craft and experience of Dr Imran.
The identity was created to be bold and strong, the starting point for that glow that will then become the running theme of the brand, as the aura is passed from one element to another, ending at its final point… You.
To further the feel of comfort within our luxury studio, we opted to change the name of key rooms. Instead of “waiting rooms” we have lounges, and instead of “operating rooms” we have suites. These rooms were all designed with our guests in mind, creating welcoming spaces to clear your mind and relax, including a TV screen in the suite to let you sit back and chill while we work with you. Personalised and seasonal aromas were introduced around the studio, further creating a space to be calm. All this while continuing the theme of that re-ignited glow across elements of the studio, from signage to the new smile illuminated mirror reveal. Lightening your mood while brightening your smile.
We purposely removed any hard edges throughout the brand, instead electing for round, welcoming shapes to highlight the balance between friendliness and affluence. The typeface ITC Avant Garde Gothic was introduced to underpin this idea, which was then paired with rounded “squircircle” tiles emulating the, desks, mirrors and furnishings placed throughout the studio space.
Using the shapes developed throughout the studio and our visual language, a set of outlined geometric icons were produced and later animated to harmonise our informative yet inviting nature.
Lastly, to ensure that our guests feel comfortable with us as early as possible in their dental journey, we built an optimised website for ease of use and accessibility. It was important to us that our guests felt familiar with their surrounding, well informed with any concerns answered. Better taken care of every step of the way.
This project was important for both myself and Dr Imran. After previously helping to build his personal brand, we were both incredibly excited to take his studio to the next level, finally visualising years of hard work, beliefs and goals, enabling Dr Imran to do what he’s always loved to do, giving people their rejuvenated glow.
